My work takes you to the streets with symbols of Love and violence with the use of metallic spray paint, oil, and flat acrylic color creating the allure of the street culture. Being raised by an artist my childhood always included art. But, when I use the word art I don’t mean any art specifically. My painting collection is a visual depiction of how hateful the world feels to a person who was taught to love your neighbor as yourself. “The Love Haters” is a group of individuals who hate everything; good, bad, happy and sad. We encounter these people everyday. Whereas “The Haters of Love” is a group of individuals that hate everything love inspired: affection, fondness, passion, etc
